OPI Live and let die

My thoughts: Live and let die is a dark forest green with golden and green shimmer flecks in it. The shimmer in more pronounced in the bottle than on the nails.

The formula is amazing and the paint is a one-coater. In the images, I have used two coats for depth. Despite the shimmer flecks, the polish sets to a smooth finish on the nails.

I wore this for a whole week with an aceent of gold (OPI Just spotted the lizard) on the ring finger shown in the NOTD here.

The Good and Bad and the Aby:

The Good:
1. Very uncommon shade.
2. Super easy to apply, opaque in single coat
3. No chipping up to four days, minor tip wear from second day when worn without top coat

The Bad:
Because it is a dark color, the tip wear, though minor, is noticeable from the second day. This is easily corrected by using a top coat. But since it is OPI and you are paying over 600 rupees for it, it is definitely a con for me.

The Aby Rant*:
Personal rants? None, I adore this polish.

* Aby rant is my personal problems with the product, may not be a negative in general.

Dupe Alert: There are many brands which have similar shades. From what I saw online, there doesn't seem to be a dupe for this but Essence Walk on The Wild Side looks kind of glittery. Both China Glaze Glittering Garland and Zoya Logan seem light and more glittery.

Overall verdict: Gorgeous color. If you love dark nails but don't want to wear black, this is a great alternative for you. The polish has great depth and complexity and is surely a must try from OPI.
